AGE GROUP TRANSITION
2026/27 SEASON

📢 What’s Changing?
 
Beginning with the upcoming 2026/27 season, US Youth Soccer, US Club Soccer, and AYSO have collectively decided to transition away from birth year age groups, toward an age group player formation cycle that runs from August 1 to July 31.

🔄 What Does This Mean for My CHILD? 
 

Will my child move teams?
Possibly. Each player’s placement for the 2026/27 season will be reviewed individually, on a case by case basis. Players will be placed in the team that best meets their developmental needs.
 
Will this affect competition level?
No. As a competitive club, we will continue to build the most competitive teams possible.

When will we know which team my child will play for?
Like every tryout cycle, teams will be announced after the conclusion of all tryout sessions. Spots will be offered as early as the first tryout session, so all players are highly encouraged to attend all sessions.
